Overview
- The master's degree requires 36 hours of coursework (or 30 hours of coursework and a thesis).
- Typical students have a BS in engineering, computer science, math, physics, chemistry, economics or finance.
- Developed in collaboration with industry partners such as Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Hewlett-Packard, Rockwell Collins and Ericsson, the Systems Engineering and Management Program is rooted in real-world needs.
- The master's degree – as well as certificates in systems engineering and management – can also be earned through executive education-format classes

The Systems Engineering and Management program at the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science offers a master’s degree designed to benefit both seasoned engineers and recent graduates alike.
As a joint program between the Jonsson School and the School of Management, we provide a broad curriculum of classes ranging from systems modeling to business economics.
