Expand Your Options With a UTDesign Team

The UTDesign program enables you to effectively expand your technical staff by taking advantage of the skills, energy and enthusiasm of teams of talented engineering and computer science students. UTDesign gives companies an opportunity to enlist teams of students on industry projects that serve as the capstone of students’ undergraduate experience. Whether it involves application development, product design or hardware integration, our students are prepared to address your business needs.

Get Involved with an EPIC Program

UTDesign EPICS is a service learning design program where undergraduate students work on multidisciplinary teams to solve real engineering problems while leaving a lasting impact on the community. Modeled after the EPICS program founded in 1995 at Purdue University, UTDesign EPICS has joined the university consortium of more than 25 universities and colleges engaging students in human-centered design in a service learning framework.

Work with Our Student Organizations

Makerspace is a student organization that seeks to provide students and faculty alike with a community resource to teach, learn and play. Makerspace works out of the UTDesign Studio, which provides more than 30,000 square feet of dedicated space where students and corporate partners can create, innovate, design, build and learn.
