Educational highlights
I would have to say my favorite class at the Jonsson School was Introduction to Digital Systems. I really enjoyed learning about digital logic and assembly programming, and since it was my first exposure to either of those I found it very interesting.
The most important thing that I learned was that grades and classes are not everything, but the knowledge, experience and people you meet are. I realized that school, even though its focus is on academics and learning, gives you the opportunity to network with professors and other students and allows you to build relationships that will be extremely beneficial in the future. The connections I made during my time at UT Dallas will never leave me.
Long-term plans
Within one year I hope to start pursuing an M.S. in computer science here at UTD, specializing in the area of computer networks. I hope to eventually join the telecommunications industry as a software developer in the voice-over-IP segment.
