Jonsson School Students Win Nearly a Fourth of Program’s Research Awards

Data mining, wearable sensor networks and abstract art are among the Jonsson School student research topics being funded by the UT Dallas Undergraduate Research Scholar Award Program, now in its second year.
 
Forty-five students university-wide received $500 each for lab equipment, travel and/or other research expenses, and then they will report on their results after their research is complete. The funds were granted for a single semester by the Office of the Vice President for Research and are supported by Tektronix Communications and Raytheon Co.
