Career Expos and Employer Spotlights
Employer Spotlights can be scheduled on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from either 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. They take place in a high-traffic area near classrooms in the South Engineering and Computer Science building.
We e-mail details about your Employer Spotlight to all students, faculty and staff in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. On the day of your spotlight, you have two hours to meet prospective employees and discuss your needs as well as their skills and experience.
The cost is just $200, which goes to buy pizza for the students attending your Employer Spotlight. To schedule an Employer Spotlight, contact Jerry Alexander.
Career Expo
The next Career Expo will be held Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UT Dallas Activity Center.
The Expo draws students from all majors and degree programs, attracting about 1,200 students and alumni each semester (including about 500 students from the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science).

On-Campus Interview Days
To schedule an on-campus interview day, just complete a schedule request form and provide a detailed job description and the criteria upon which to screen candidates. Your job and interview opportunity will then be made available to candidates.
You can then either review interested candidates’ resumes and select whom to meet with or simply allow all interested candidates to sign up to meet with you in a private interview room in the UTD Career Center on a first-come, first-served basis.
