Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Assessment is to provide the Erik Jonsson School with information to support continuous improvement of its programs. Our activities include assisting the Jonsson School programs’ self-assessment planning, implementation and reporting; preparation of program accreditation; and University-wide assessment.
Course Evaluation
The Office of Assessment conducts evaluation of all ECS courses and faculty every semester. The evaluation is a semester-long process beginning with the faculty scheduling their course evaluation dates, the ECS teaching assistants enrolling to evaluate courses and, finally, the evaluation itself toward the end of the semester.
Faculty can view their evaluation results at the UTD evaluations Web site.
