Explore Engineering Day

                                      February 22, 2014

The UT Dallas Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science extends this invitation to participate in our 2014 Engineers Week community outreach event on Saturday, February 22, 2014. It is a come-and-go free event from 10:00am-2:00pm for all ages. Our goal for "Explore Engineering Day" is to promote the engineering products, projects, programs, and professions of local high tech companies and share some of the exciting opportunities at the University of Texas at Dallas. We will have interactive displays and demonstrations to captivate the K-12 audience from both current UTD students and industry professionals. Local colleges will be on-hand to discuss the STEM programs at their schools and summer camp information. A fun patch can be earned by visiting a number of stations throughout our campus. Let us spark your imagination by exploring the exciting fields of engineering and computer science.

UTD Major Presentations

What are the different engineering majors? What kind of research does a UTD professor engage in? What types of careers can engineers expect? These are a series of 15 minute presentations about majors and research at UTD. Following the presentation, the professor will be available for Q&A in the hallway
