Analog and RF integrated circuit technology now has the potential for yielding low-cost solutions in a wide variety of biomedical applications.

TxACE is working to identify and support analog circuit research challenges that have potential to enable important health-related applications. TxACE is a natural catalyst for such work because analog technology is the essential interface enabling the power, speed and miniaturization of modern digital microelectronics to be brought to bear on an array of medical issues such as:

  • Medical imaging
  • Patient monitoring
  • Affordable and quick laboratory analyses
  • Bio-sensing, including both wearable and implanted devices
  • New therapeutic devices
